Welcome to Hermon Public School!
Hermon Public School, built in 1969, is a small rural school located 30 km east of Bancroft and serves approximately 60 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6. The school has a literacy room, computer lab, iPad/iPod technology, a multi-purpose room, a large well-equipped playground and a shade shelter complete with picnic tables and flower pots. A public library is located on site. The school has an active recycling and composting program. There is a balance of academics, arts, athletics and strong home/school communication. Hermon PS provides Daily Physical Education and boasts an active school council. Parent volunteers facilitate special events and activities.
